This lonely bench punctuated the view (or lack thereof!) of Madison's Capitol which I attempted to capture from the side yard of a home on Lake Mendota that I showed today in beautiful Maple Bluff WI. Moments later, as I rushed inside to relieve my frost-bitten toes & fingers, a small group of cross-country skiers (along with a couple of very energetic, no doubt happy, dogs) zipped across the lake, dotting the horizon and momentarily obliterating the white-out.
